Serving Western Washington Since 2003
Over 20 years ago, my Dad and Grandfather invented and patented the first retractable hose central vacuum system called Hide-A-Hose. Together, they founded the first Hide-A-Hose installation company located in Monroe, Washington. Over the years, Hide-A-Hose has revitalized the central vacuum industry, and the system has been installed in thousands of homes all over the world.
I’ve always admired the dedication my family showed to every customer they served, which is why I’m proud to use the name Hide-A-Hose of Washington. Customer service has been ingrained in me since childhood. Before joining Hide-A-Hose, I worked with a technical integration company, where I specialized in Lutron shades and lighting control, providing custom installations and award-winning projects. I was featured in the CEDIA magazine, which highlighted women in the technology industry and acknowledged my detail orientated work and project management skills.

Emily did a fantastic job designing our central vac system for new construction. Hide-a-Hose made two trips out to Port Angeles to install and ensure the system was perfect. Now that we're finally moving in, I love the system. Makes it so easy and efficient vacuuming!!! I especially like the IR off and on switch and powered head. And the fact I don't have to constantly empty a vacuum bag. With a large furry dog the Hide-a-Hose system is invaluable! Definitely recommend!
Had to have them come out to unclog our system and setting up an appointment was easy. Emily was so accommodating, which was greatly appreciated. Sergio, their service tech, arrived smiling and ready to work. I absolutely enjoyed him and felt comfortable with him in my home. He said there wasn't a clog he couldn't open up. He successfully cleared up our system and assessed all parts and pieces and let us know how to move on from there. Referred us back to Emily, who had an update on new equipment the next day. Hard to find great help these days! Highly recommend
Such a wonderful place for service. They are pleasant and professional and knowledgeable about their products. I have stopped out a few times since having my hose a hose installed by them and they've always been helpful and able to answer my questions.
Their products are poor quality. I am so done. Our electric handle stopped working in roughly 9 months. The wand is weak to the point of constant slipping of the heigh locking mechanism. We have had their products overall under 2 years and none of them work anymore. We are new to owning a central vacuum but this can't be right.
Other companies(Electrolux) dragged their feet. These guys were THERE. Got it done, perfect and working great. Thanks so much!
Highly recommend Jason, Sergio and colleagues! Extremely helpful on the phone, arranged a service visit for the same day, and then solved the issue within a few minutes! Best prices in town! I would use their services again!
They came to our home to help me with another vacuum system and were excellent. Very good service and I would highly recommend.
Can't say enough about Jason. He is professional, knowledgeable about his product and always takes time to answer our questions. We have bought two central vacuum systems from him (two different homes) and have been very happy with the product and the customer service. We highly recommend Jason and his team and will go back to them again with any future vac system needs.
